INSIDE TRON LIGHTCYCLE / RUN
In Tomorrowland, you'll find yourself beneath a dazzling canopy, swirling with color, and transported to The Grid. Throughout TRON: Legacy, lightcycles speed overhead, accompanied by cool neon lights and energetic music by legendary electronic music duo Daft Punk. Get on your Lightcycle and enjoy racing with other users (Team Blue) and defeating fierce computer programs (Team Orange) in an exciting high-tech battle.
With speeds of nearly 60 mph, TRON Lightcycle / Run is the fastest coaster at any Disney park. In Magic Kingdom Park, this ride is easily one of the most exciting with its high-speed launch and unique motorbike design. There are sharp turns, sudden drops, and stops in the ride, as well as bright visual effects and an adrenaline-fueled soundtrack.
You ride a Lightcycle by leaning forward and gripping the handlebars to enhance the cool factor. In order to ride out every turn in style, back and calf restraints lock you safely in place, but they offer some flexibility. Accessible benches with a traditional lap bar are also available if the standard Lightcycle isn't your cup of tea.
A LIGHTCYCLE OR RUN IS THE BEST WAY TO EXPERIENCE TRON
The Grid will be well-received, but there are a few things you'll need to know before you ride it
VIRTUAL QUEUE
TRON Lightcycle / Run will not open with a standby queue. With My Disney Experience app, you will need to join the attractions' virtual queue in order to ride. Waiting for the boarding group to be called allows you to enjoy other attractions in the park. To experience TRON Lightcycle / Run, return to the attraction entrance when the time is right. To join the virtual queue, check out the My Disney Experience app for daily opportunities and distribution times.
Please note that a valid theme park ticket and park pass reservation are required to join the virtual queue at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. The ability to participate in the experience does not guarantee joining the virtual queue. Availability of boarding groups for a virtual queue is limited. Depending on availability, not all boarding groups may be called to return.
LIGHTNING LANE
With a Lightning Lane pass, you can avoid the physical queue when running TRON Lightcycle / Run. This individually priced pass gives you access to the Lightning Lane Entrance rather than standing in the standby line on the My Disney Experience app. Depending on the day of your visit, pricing will vary; please check My Disney Experience for information on date-based pricing.
When TRON Lightcycle / Run opens, it won't be included with Disney Genie+.
LOCKERS
It is the first ride to utilize mandatory digitized lockers for your loose items at Walt Disney World Resort. You don't need a MagicBand or an Identity Disc to access these double-sided lockers. When you ride, you can store your bags, ears, snacks, and more for free. You can store your phone, wallet, and other small items in the small storage compartment at the front of each bike.
ACCESSIBILITY
A guest 48 inches or larger who has good health and is capable of transferring out of a wheelchair is welcome to take part in the TRON Lightcycle Run. There may be restrictions on the seating or restraints on this attraction that prevent some guests of certain body types from accessing the ride. For those who would like to saddle up and test their comfort levels before riding, there is a test seat located outside the attraction.
