INSIDE THE PARK
By stepping through Gatorlands' gator mouth entrance, you will only begin to realize what lies beyond. The turnstiles aren't just home to alligators. In addition to the informational and directional signs around the main entrance, the signs in the park are filled with jokes that overlay the overall theme of the park and help set the stage for their signature shows to be a big hit.

Before we began our day at the park, my husband and I explored the park's map of attractions and showtimes. The add-ons we chose allowed us to experience some of Gatorlands' more intense experiences. A fantastic way to elevate your visit is to experience these additional up-close animal encounters and thrills. We will discuss the three highly immersive up-close experiences in detail later, including the Screamin Gator Zip Line, Adventure Hour, and Stompin Gator Off-Road Adventure.
GET TO KNOW THE GATORS AND OTHER FAMOUS ANIMALS

Everywhere you look, you can find Gatorland's namesake stars. The entire time we were in the park, we encountered gators everywhere. At the park, you will find over 2000 American alligators, ranging from hatchlings at the park's Baby Gator Marsh to adults of all sizes throughout the park's pools and marshes. Alligators with albino pigment or leucistic pigments can even be found. Two of the world's 12 leucistic alligators are found at Gatorland.

We encountered many new animals along the main guest path. Alligators aren't the only animals the park has. It is also home to a variety of reptiles, birds, tortoises, emus, barnyard animals and wild cats. In these curated animal encounters, we gained new insights into the species they showcased. As we explored some of the smaller critters of the park, we headed toward the main boardwalk.

We gathered along the woodGatorlands' signature shows. en railing that lines the water, anticipating one of Since the Orlando park's earliest days, the Gator Jumparoo Show has been a popular attraction. In this high-energy show, alligators demonstrate some of their agility and strength in the wild while entertaining and educating.
Throughout the presentation, the host and animal trainers begin by making humorous introductions. As the trainers compete to complete the most successful feedings, the audience is divided into two competing halves. As the gators leap from the water to grab the food dangling above them, excitement builds. Several gators leapt for their lunches as we cheered on the action.
During a trip to the park, you can also see the Gator Jumparoo Show, just one of three unmatched wildlife presentations. A lineup that will delight animal explorers of all ages includes Alligators: Legends of the Swamp and Up Close Encounters. Several resident creatures of Gatorlands are also explored to provide you with entertaining insights into their natural environments, behaviors, anatomy, and lifecycles.
